SingStreaks Privacy Policy

            Quick Summary: SingStreaks stores all data locally on your device. We don't collect, track, or have access to any of your personal information or practice data. Your privacy is absolute.
        

1. Information Collection

We collect NO information. SingStreaks operates entirely on your local device without any server communication.

2. Data Storage

All data created by SingStreaks is stored locally using Chrome's storage API:

Practice session records (duration, ratings, notes)
Timer states and preferences
Calculated metrics and statistics

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.

3. Data Access

Only you have access to your data. We cannot see, access, or retrieve your practice information because it exists solely on your device.

4. Chrome Permissions

SingStreaks requests the following Chrome permissions:

Storage: To save your practice sessions locally
Alarms: To run the practice timer in the background
Notifications: To alert you when practice time is complete
Tabs: To open the analytics dashboard in a new tab
ActiveTab: To display the extension popup
Downloads: To export your data as JSON files

These permissions are used solely for app functionality, not for tracking or data collection.

5. Third-Party Services

SingStreaks includes:

Affiliate Links: Links to Singorama (singing course). Clicking these links may result in cookies being set by Singorama, subject to their privacy policy.
Share Links: Links to our website for sharing with friends. These links may include referral parameters for our analytics.

6. Data Export and Import

You can export your data at any time as a JSON file. This file is saved to your local downloads folder. When importing data, the file is processed locally and never transmitted to any server.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data by:

Uninstalling the extension
Using Chrome's "Clear storage" option in extension settings
Clearing your browser data

8. Children's Privacy

SingStreaks does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13, as it collects no information from anyone.

9. Changes to Privacy Policy

Any changes to this privacy policy will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

10. Open Source Transparency

SingStreaks's commitment to privacy is verifiable. As a Chrome extension, our code is reviewable through the Chrome Web Store.
